Well, the main difference between caliente and caluroso is that Caluroso is only used when you are talking about weather or about the weather from some place, and Caliente is used when you're talking about an object or weather also.

Salir is used when you are talking about leave a place (Only). And Dejar is used when you are talking about stopping an action, or to let or permit. Also is used to talk about leave a place or an object.
