Exacto Trini, me refiero a ello, pensé que una forma más sutil era decirle "no te desvanezcas"

I looked in my Span/Eng & Eng/Span dictionary (Harper/Collins 7th Edition, 2003) for the phrase "go to pieces" as in "I hope you will not 'go to pieces' "
"Go to pieces" = Breakdown.

My book suggests the Idiom:
quedar deshecho

May I suggest "Espero que no quedas deshecho".
I hope this means "I hope you wont go to pieces"
